Paraplegic Peanut endured a broken back while desperately searching for food to feed her puppies. When we found her, she was nothing but skin and bones, hiding beneath an old building. Despite her immense pain, she had dragged herself back to her puppies, determined to care for them. Unable to move far due to her injuries, she was still trying to provide for them. We rescued Peanut and entrusted her puppies to the factory's security guard, where she had been living. Thankfully, all of her puppies found loving homes through adoption.

We took Peanut to the vet who diagnosed blood parasites, starvation, high temperature and inflamed drag wounds. In addition she was found to have an inflamed uterus when we took her to be sterilised. If we hadn't rescued her she would have died. After many months of intensive treatment Peanut stabilised to become a happy healthy dog she is today. 

Peanut is the sweetest-natured dog who would dearly love a sponsor to care about her.
